Web Project Team Lead

CommentSold is hiring a self-motivated, high-functioning Web Development Project Team Lead with experience managing multiple projects. In this role, you will work directly with the creative design and digital marketing teams to ensure deliverables of all aspects of each project fulfill client needs. You will be responsible for projects from end to end, including planning, coordination of development, and jumping in to help finish projects as needed.

In this role, you will

  • Monitor and supervise a web team to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization
  • Translate requirements into agile project plans, briefs and analysis
  • Lead an agile project team consisting of Designers, UI/UX Developers, Back-end Developers, and QA managers to help estimate work, develop new solutions, and enhance existing solutions
  • Conduct project discussions with team members and stakeholders, transforming high-level requirements into project plans, design briefs, and development tickets
  • Host regular stand-ups and meetings with team and project leads connected to the web roadmap
  • Own stakeholder relationships and ensure frequent and transparent communication on the status of projects
  • Create status reports and present status to stakeholders, including timely escalating scope, timeline, and/or budget issues
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements
  • Assist with developing quality assurance processes, documentation, and testing where needed
  • Manage WP and WPEngine accounts, plug-ins

If you’re right for this role, you

  • Have 5+ years leading a project team focused on Web Development
  • Have 5+ years of project management experience, including platform/software experience (Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheets, Trello, etc.)
  • Have 5+ years of web development and/or web design experience (HTML, CSS, etc)
  • Have 5+ years of content management system experience (Wordpress, Sitecore, etc)
  • Have strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills
  • Work effectively with remote colleagues, teams, and vendors
  • Have agile development experience
  • Have coding skills; preferred but not required
  • Have the ability to interface and communicate effectively with stakeholders from across the organization
  • Have experience managing and organizing several work streams with different/competing priorities
  • Have experience creating, monitoring, and updating project plans
  • Utilize data for reporting and forecasting
  • Are familiar with e-commerce platforms
