Technical Recruiter

Recruiting at Fastly is collaborative and strategic. As a member of our Global Talent team, our Recruiter for Cient Services owns and drives the recruiting process from end-to-end, supporting the hiring of great people for one or more functions. We partner closely with our hiring managers to develop strategies to identify and hire top performing candidates. We’re seeking a dynamic Recruiter who brings a passion for technology with a focus on creativity and solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on candidate advocacy and delivering a positive and memorable candidate experience
  • Build & maintain effective collaborative partnerships with your hiring managers in the org(s) you support, and with People Team teammates
  • Help your hiring managers adhere to hiring processes and timelines to hire quality candidates
  • Strategize creative ways to build talent pipelines through tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns
  • Support Fastly’s Inclusion & Diversity efforts
  • Closely track your talent pipelines and metrics in order to make data driven decisions and meet hiring goals
  • Drive offer process in partnership with hiring managers, HRBPS, and the Compensation team
  • Helps contribute to team projects

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably with Tech companies
  • The ability to understand the technical requirements of the roles you support
  • Flexibility to support one or more verticals within our tech functions
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers
  • Experience sourcing and attracting passive talent through multiple methods and channels
  • Solid resume screening and interviewing skills to assess role fit
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactiveness, an interest in learning, and pride/a sense of ownership in your work
  • Good time management skills

We value a variety of voices, so this is not a laundry list. It would be an added bonus if you have experience in ANY of these:

  • Previous recruiting role at a SaaS company
  • Previous recruiting role at a cloud services or CDN company
  • Both agency and in-house experience
  • The specific tools we use: Linkedin Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem

In accordance with applicable law, Fastly’s minimum base pay for this role if hired in Colorado is 83,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fastly's equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations. Note that this role is available to candidates outside of Colorado and different minimum compensation may apply.
