Technical Program Manager

The Technical Program Manager will be working with Engineering teams to deliver high impact, trailblazing products. This person must be comfortable working closely with Engineering teams, as well as people from all departments within the organization. This Program Manager is expected to manage multiple complex projects by guiding your team towards project completion with a focus onsetting accurate expectations with appropriate communication, proactively unblocking/deriskingissues, and project planning. They are also focused on optimizing the team’s processes, rangingfrom individual improvements all the way to org-wide structural changes.

What you will do:

o Manage Technical Programs to ensure that projects & deliverables are on time and in scope

o Manage documentation of Program Status Reports and other artifacts

o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, acting as technical liaison

o Facilitate team meetings, upholding and guiding teams towards Agile best practices

o Ensure timely delivery of software releases by unblocking and de-risking efforts

o Maintain forward momentum on Engineering tasks (tickets, reviews, documentation, etc)

o Proactively report and resolve technical issues with an eye for scalable solutions

o Use data to inform suggestion for improvements, as well as to set expectations for future planning and strategy

o Engage in our product development process to develop project plans and execution strategy

o Identify, define, and execute processes for continuous improvement

o Optimize how your technical team functions and how this team interacts with stakeholders

o Collaborate with other Technical Program Managers to implement PMO best-practices

About you:

o 4-6 years of Technical Project or Program Management experience

o Knowledge of SCRUM/Agile processes for Software Engineering, Scrum Master Certification preferred

o Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and best practices

o Demonstrated track record of success delivering results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment in a SaaS model

o Experience at a successful, scaling tech start-up strongly preferred

o Expert in effective communication with Software Engineers, Product Managers, CompanyLeadership, and External Partners

o Experience in Change Management within an Engineering organization

o Can work proactively and autonomously with little supervision

o Analytical problem solver and strong quantitative thinker who learns quickly

o Ability to juggle and prioritize competing demands on your time

o Able to lead cross-functional project teams
