The Opportunity

  • In this role, you will help improve the work experiences of your fellow Mozillians by deeply understanding their business challenges and devising solutions to their needs.
  • We are looking for someone with experience in corporate finance and accounting who can help us make major improvements to these processes and systems at Mozilla.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Establish relationships with Mozilla IT’s customers, initially in the finance and accounting spaces, and expanding into other areas over time.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our customers’ business domains and the ways in which their needs are unusual or unique compared to those of other companies.
  • Interpret, document, analyze, and communicate business processes and requirements.
  • Assess vendor solutions for their ability to support Mozilla’s specific needs and, ideally, improve our processes.
  • Play a key role in the roll-out of new solutions, collaborating with the customer, vendors, engineers, and implementation partners to ensure solutions are correctly implemented and configured to meet our needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • First-hand experience with corporate finance processes and systems.
  • Experience working with packaged ERP solutions (e.g. Netsuite, SAP, Oracle EBS, or others)
  • A demonstrable ability to gather, comprehend, and analyze customer needs, specifically domain-specific business processes.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts to people who are not domain experts.
  • A desire to take ownership of complex problems and drive solutions.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An ability to inspire and persuade people who don’t report to you.
  • A professional history of fairness and integrity.

Bonus Points For

  • First-hand experience participating in or leading transformation of finance processes and/or migration to new finance systems.
