As Social Media Manager at Venafi, youll create and implement a world-class social media strategy at one of the fastest-growing AI companies on the planet. Through deep empathy with our target audience, you will accelerate the growth of our following on LinkedIn and Twitter, while also establishing a significant presence across other platforms. Across the board, youll harness the power of social media to build a massive, global following.

This role covers a broad scope of responsibility: writing all company social posts and comments, ideating and creating multimedia content alongside our corporate communications, product marketing management teams, and demand gen team. The person in this role will create and actively manage our social media calendar via cross-functional collaboration, defining our brand voice and messaging on each platform, drafting template posts for our employees, customers, and partners, reporting on performance, and more. Youll work closely with the entire marketing and sales team and report to the Director of PR to define key objectives and implement a global program for this high growth, pre-IPO cyber security leader.

In this role, you will:

  • Create and implement a world-class social media strategy to accelerate our global social media footprint and clearly establish Venafi as the leader and category owner of machine identity management market.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic, global social media calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Actively monitor all social media channels for mentions, news events and trends connected with Venafi and the machine identity management market. Work with stake holders to comment and respond quickly.
  • Lead our expansion to platforms beyond LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter by leveraging multimedia content optimized for each format.
  • Draft and share template social media posts for our employees, customers and partners to amplify news, trends and announcements with on-brand messaging.
  • Identify joint marketing opportunities by monitoring the social feeds of our customers, investors, and partners, in addition to actively monitoring Venafi mentions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to build compelling social content targeting new audiences.
  • Conduct enablement sessions for colleagues across departments to share social media best practices.
  • Participate in messaging and planning discussions for product launches; become knowledgeable about the nuances of the machine identity management marketplace and messaging for Venafi solutions.
  • Expand the framework for analyzing the effectiveness of our social media strategy and operationalize reporting through data to demonstrate how well we meet key objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Demand Generation, Sales, Sales Development, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to align our social media strategy with integrated go-to-market campaigns.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports on social engagement and program ROI as required.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

The ideal Venafi Warrior will be armed with:

  • 5+ years of experience in driving a digital / social marketing growth in a global, B2B technology company.
  • A passionate user of social media with a proven ability to gain followers and build a positive reputation for B2B technology company.
  • Proven ability to engage with communities on social media through empathetic and data-driven social listening.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with a track record of distilling complicated concepts into compelling content for specific platforms.
  • An expert user of LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter with a deep, evolving understanding of other platforms, including new, advanced and paid features.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Crello Prezi and Flipsnack.
  • Expertise in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, SocialPilot and Coscheduler.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, project management and agency management skills.
  • Proven cross-functional leader who is adept at building positive working relationships and influence with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to inform strategic decisions, including performance tracking and behavioral analytics.
  • Capable of leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Insatiable curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset.
