What you'll get to do...

Dig into Needs and Identify Solutions

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, learning program managers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify business needs and learning needs
  • Ask insightful questions and seek clarity to ensure you are creating effective learning solutions that meet those needs
  • Establish relevant, observable, and measurable learning goals and objectives
  • Recommend learning solutions that are highly impactful and achieve desired outcomes

Create Impactful Learning Experiences

  • Design and develop engaging and innovative learning experiences, leveraging a variety of approaches and delivery channels
  • Ensure alignment between objectives, content, activities, and assessments
  • Collaborate with SMEs to synthesize, curate, and develop content
  • Design and develop instructionally sound and dynamic learning materials that accelerates performance
  • Use development tools and applications including but not limited to Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Appitierre Evolve, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Partner with learning program managers to implement solutions
  • Package complex technical processes and verbiage into digestible learning interventions

Assess Solution Effectiveness

  • Create reliable and valid measurement methods in order to evaluate the effectiveness of learning interactions
  • Measure impact and outcomes against pre-determined success metrics
  • Analyze learning data to improve engagement, increase quality, and/or recommend new learning approaches, when necessary

Work Collaboratively and Drive Design Projects

  • Build strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and SMEs
  • Systematically lead projects through the design lifecycle from analysis to design, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Manage multiple projects at once, proactively coordinating with stakeholders and team members to maintain agreed-upon project expectations, deliverables, and milestones
  • Shows flexibility when projects change and offer solutions, new goals, project plan adjustments, and proactively and effectively communicates with partners

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing learning solutions, including creating instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, blended learning, job aids, multimedia products (video, graphic, audio), and other training materials
  • 5+ years of experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline
  • 3+ years of leadership experience or supporting leadership learning programs
  • Proven track record of assessing learning needs and designing and developing solutions, resulting in improved individual and organizational performance
  • Attention to detail when creating learning experiences such as text, graphics, videos, and simulations
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple learning projects
  • Partnering with and managing external ID vendor partners
  • Working with a team of people across various levels and positions to achieve a common goal

You may also have...

  • Degree in related discipline, such as instructional design, instructional technology, educational technology, or organizational development
  • Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, and/or project management
  • Experience with new product launches or the creation of new lines of business relating to learning program support, design, or strategy a plus, though not required

Location:Kirkland, WA or Remote

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
