About the job

This leadership role will establish Twilio as the heart of a thriving ecosystem of ISV partners building differentiated engagement experiences. The global team will develop and execute joint technology partnerships that generate opportunities, revenue and accelerated success for our shared customers. The leader will be responsible for Twilio’s efforts to deepen executive partner relationships, grow repeatable revenue for Twilio and our partners, and drive new routes to market through joint innovation. This leader will foster a culture of building with partners to become the trusted platform for developers and companies to build at consumer scale. This role will report to the Vice President of Twilio Global Partner Ecosystem.

  • Develop, drive, and communicate a vision for Twilio technology partners that advances our customer engagement platform vision, and enables shared success for Twilio partners and customers.
  • Recruit, empower and develop a world-class team of partner managers to accelerate Twilio revenue and joint innovation with our technology partners.
  • Build internal alignment for how technology partners advance our platform vision across Twilio product leadership, and lead partner activities as it relates to Marketing, Enablement, and joint product roadmaps.
  • Design a technology partnership framework that delivers financial success for Twilio, our partners and shared customers.
  • Develop strong alignment with product team leadership and our strategic technology partners to align roadmaps and product strategy.
  • Work with Sales and Finance leadership to align sales motions, and manage the pipeline of opportunities with partners.
  • Lead a business review cadence that fosters learning, accountability, and communicates partner impact with peers and Twilio senior executives.
  • Play an active role in partner sales activities, and help close our largest joint opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to enable sales teams to leverage our technology partner programs to win new direct business with Twilio from technology partners.
  • Identify and drive internal operational efficiencies to accelerate success with partners.

  • 10+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances, sales, marketing, business development and senior leadership experience growing and leading a global technology partner team.
  • Ability to communicate the partner opportunity of the Twilio customer engagement platform with both technical and non-technical leaders, as well as influence their thinking.
  • Strong functional expertise in ISV partner management with experience developing partnership strategies that cut across all GTM functions, as well as influence product development.
  • Deep domain expertise in marketing or contact center industry at global enterprise scale.
  • A professional network that includes senior relationships within ISVs focused on contact center or marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing partnerships that consistently exceed targets.


  • Experience working in other enterprise software domains would be a plus.
  • While outstanding partner leadership skills are essential, first-hand experience leading other GTM functions would also be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of data management and cloud environments is preferred.


This position will be remote and based in the US, with 25% travel anticipated.
