GitHub is looking for a communications expert to join the Corporate Comms team to lead Issues Management. This person will support a wide range of existing communications activities, and also have the opportunity to build and manage dedicated programs. The Senior Corporate Communications Manager will advise teams and senior leaders on strategic communications around key issues, be responsible for internal issues management processes, and take lead on external reactive and proactive communications development. Collaborating with global stakeholders across the company and outside agencies, the candidate will be able to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to ensure positive brand positioning. The role will require the ability to support a variety of complex and technical topics, including security, policy, engineering, and company communications. This role will also provide support on internal communications and social media for reactive issues when needed.

A high performer with a growth mindset, who is both collaborative and autonomous, the ideal candidate will have strong issues management experience, relationships with key media, and an excitement to be part of a global Communications team that represents GitHub as the home for all developers.
This role will report to the Head of Corporate Comms and be U.S.-remote based. Domestic and international travel may be needed post-COVID.
(Colorado only) Minimum salary of 89,200 to maximum 189,300 + bonus + equity + benefits.
