Accounting and AP Manager

We are looking for a Accounting and AP Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This person will be working in core function within the accounting team overseeing operational processes and accounting, including cost allocations, fixed assets, cash, prepaid expenses, and other short and long-term assets/liabilities Only persons authorized to work in USA will be considered.

Role and Responsibilities:

o Oversee operational processes and accounting, including cost allocations, fixed assets, cash, prepaid expenses, and other short and long-term assets/liabilities

o Review journal entries, account reconciliations, preparation of disclosure schedules for financial filings, and fluctuation analysis

o Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and external audits

o Manage sales and local taxes filing and compliance

o Assist leadership with special projects

o Manage the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timeliness

o Manage the international entity accounting close process, including recording foreign entity transactions

o Collaborate with other Finance and cross-functional teams on a monthly basis to close matters and other initiatives

o Help with audits and financial statements, tax filings, including working directly with international auditors and ensuring timely compliance with local regulations

o Work on process optimization and automation efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness on a continuous basis using technology solutions and automation

o Monitor daily accounts payable transactions

o Manage monthly AP close process

o Act as primary contact for supplier onboarding, payment oversight, and relationship management

o Manage and submit check runs as the bank contact for check run activity

o Manages travel & expense reporting and credit card program

o Oversees cash applications

o Coordinate with cross functional teams

o Enforce company policies and procedures

o Manages 1099 and W-9 paperwork

o Participate in other assignments and ad hoc projects as required

Skills, Educations and Experiences:

o 10+ years of experience in accounting

o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study

public company experience preferred

o CPA (or equivalent) required

o Experience with high-growth companies, ideally in the Software SaaS industry

o Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills

o NetSuite ERP experience is preferred

o Experience with sales and use tax filing is a plus

o Strong Microsoft Excel skills
